Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], March 24:<\/strong> BTL EPC Ltd has secured a prestigious\u00a0\u20b9590 crore order from Adani Power Limited<\/strong>\u00a0for the\u00a0Coal Handling Plant (CHP) and Ash Handling Plant (AHP)<\/strong>\u00a0for the\u00a03\u00d7800 MW Ultra Super Critical Thermal Power Plant at Pirpainti, Bhagalpur, Bihar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The scope of work covers\u00a0design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning<\/strong>\u00a0of the complete CHP and AHP systems.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Coal Handling Plant package<\/strong>\u00a0includes design and engineering of civil and structural works along with a\u00a0belt conveyor system of approximately 9 km<\/strong>, supported by major equipment such as crushers, screens, travelling trippers and feeders. The package also includes\u00a0electrical systems, control & instrumentation, dust suppression, and utilities\u00a0<\/strong>including\u00a0mandatory spares and maintenance tools<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Ash Handling Plant package<\/strong>\u00a0includes a\u00a0bottom ash handling system through jet pumps and de-watering bins<\/strong>, with disposal to the ash dyke through pipelines extending up to\u00a0approximately 4.5 km<\/strong>. The\u00a0fly ash system will operate through a two-stage vacuum-cum-pressure conveying arrangement<\/strong>\u00a0supported by vacuum pumps and compressors. The package also covers\u00a0electrical, control & instrumentation systems, structural works and mandatory spares<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
