What are the chances?<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Shantanu says, &#8220;Honestly, the chances were pretty slim!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He continues, &#8220;As artists, we can only do our work and try to do it to the best of our ability. Whether a film or a song becomes a massive success is ultimately beyond our control.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;So, the fact that the songs I have sung for <strong>Hanuman Ansh<\/strong> and <strong>URI<\/strong> went on to receive such a tremendous response is something I feel genuinely grateful for. It\u2019s one of those moments when you realise that sometimes, everything simply comes together beautifully.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He tells us, &#8220;The story behind <strong>Siyavar Ramchandra Ki Jai<\/strong> is actually quite wonderfully accidental!<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The music composer of the film, Dhirendra Mulkalwar, is a dear friend. At the time, I was working with him on the background score of <strong>Hanuman Ansh<\/strong>, contributing guitars and recording chorus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One day, Dhiru bhai called and said, \u201cBhai, yeh chorus ka part fatafat gaa kar bhej do please.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He sent me the part\u2014which was the <strong>Siyavar Ramchandra Ki Jai<\/strong> chorus and the Sitaram section at the end. I recorded it, sent it across and completely forgot about it. A few days later, Dhiru suddenly said, \u201cYaar, Siyavar Ramchandra Ki Jai ka mukhda karna hai aur abhi approval ke liye bhejna hai.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I said, \u201cTheek hai, lyrics de do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He replied, \u201cAap hi scratch lyrics nipta do, phir baad mein dekhte hain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So I asked him for the tune.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He simply said, \u201cMain tune bana raha hoon, aap lyrics niptao tab tak.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And somehow, in that room, everything just came together.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the track had to be sent for approval, I quickly recorded a scratch version with my voice, and we sent it across. After that, well\u2026<strong>Siyavar Ramchandra Ki Jai!<\/strong>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked about his previous blockbuster &#8211; Manzar Hai Ye Naya, he said &#8220;I was working with Shashwat Sachdeva on an entirely different project when I received a call from his studio.
